This permanent Captain opportunity welcomes experienced multi‑crew airline pilots — including those currently on Airbus or Boeing — who are ready to bring prior turboprop or regional experience back to the forefront. 🧭 The opportunity
As a Twin Otter Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient multi‑crew operations on a rugged, short take‑off and landing (STOL) turboprop renowned for its versatility. You’ll apply disciplined airmanship, sound decision‑making and regional/utility operating know‑how, upholding company SOPs and regulatory standards on every sector.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Experienced multi‑crew airline pilot with prior turboprop or short‑haul regional airline experience.
- Valid UK CAA ATPL.
- Current Class 1 Medical.
- ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
- The right to live and work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
- Willingness to complete full DHC‑6 training and line induction (non‑type‑rated candidates welcome).
🌟 Preferred experience
- Previous DHC‑6 Twin Otter time (current or earlier in your career) is advantageous.
- Experience on light multi‑engine utility types such as King Air, Shorts, or BN‑2 Islander.
- Regional turboprop airline experience on aircraft such as Saab 340, EMB‑120, ATR, or Dash 8.
- Familiarity with STOL techniques and short‑field performance planning.

✈️ What you’ll be doing
- Command DHC‑6 multi‑crew operations, ensuring safety, compliance and on‑time performance.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance for each sector.
- Lead effective CRM, mentor flight deck colleagues, and model best‑practice airmanship.
- Coordinate with operations and engineering to maintain dispatch reliability and aircraft serviceability.
- Maintain rigorous standards across normal, abnormal and emergency procedures.
