RAVN Aerospace is hiring former military aviators for part-time flying assignments that support U.S. and partner-nation defense and aerospace missions. Fly demanding tactical aircraft, train frontline crews, and contribute to adversary air, CAS, test, and advanced training programs—all within a safety-first, mission-focused culture.
✈️ The Mission
Join RAVN Aerospace Flight Operations to deliver high-impact tactical aviation support. Depending on your background and program assignment, you will enable adversary air, contracted close air support, research and development, test and evaluation, operational test, flight training, and aircraft development missions—directly supporting U.S. military personnel and partner nations.
🧭 What You’ll Fly & Do
- Operate tactical jets in a disciplined, safety-focused flight operations environment
- Execute missions such as adversary air, contracted CAS, R&D, T&E, operational test support, and advanced flight training
- Brief, lead, and debrief sorties with precision, professionalism, and mission focus
- Maintain aircraft and mission qualifications, medical certifications, training, and currency
- Comply with company procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable federal aviation and defense regulations
- Perform duties across aircraft, hangar, ramp, and flight-line environments
🧰 What You Bring
- Former military pilot with tactical aviation experience
- Uncompromising commitment to safety, sound judgment, professionalism, and mission accomplishment
- Proven teamwork, CRM proficiency, and strong communication, briefing, and debriefing skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearances, installation access, airport credentials, and meet background, medical, driving, and work authorization requirements
- Adaptability to varied aircraft, mission profiles, customers, locations, and program requirements
- Desired experience: Fighter/attack, adversary air, CAS, flight test (DT/OT), advanced training; prior IP/EP/Flight Lead/Mission Commander/Test Pilot/Weapons Officer credentials; experience supporting DoD or allied aviation programs
📍 Where & When You’ll Operate
- Primary on-site locations: Houston, San Antonio, and El Paso, TX; other locations as assigned by program needs
- Travel required; mission schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights
- Operational tempo and aircraft/mission assignments determined by contractual and program requirements
