🧭 The Opportunity
Harbour Air is seeking an experienced, safety- and service-oriented seaplane pilot to captain the DHC-3T Otter. You will operate scheduled and charter flights along the Southern British Columbia coastal regions, based out of Vancouver. This is a seasonal role with training provided for non-type-rated pilots.
- Aircraft: DHC-3T Otter
- Operation: Coastal seaplane on floats (scheduled & charter)
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
- NTR: Yes
🧰 What You Will Do
- Captain DHC-3T seaplane operations across coastal routes, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time performance.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, weather and sea-state assessments, and performance calculations for float operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting and briefing passengers and creating a memorable Harbour Air experience.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, dock, and maintenance teams; uphold SOPs and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Exercise sound judgment in dynamic coastal environments; adapt to changing conditions while maintaining high airmanship standards.
- Support both scheduled services and bespoke charters with professionalism and flexibility.

🧭 Minimum Qualifications
- Total PIC: 1000 hours
- Float Time: 750 hours on floats
- Licences: TCCA CPL with Float Rating
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
- Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
🌟 Preferred Experience
- DHC-3T time and familiarity with turbine Otter operations.
- Coastal flying experience in Southern BC or similar maritime environments.
