As a Saab 340 First Officer based at Point Mugu, you’ll fly in a safety-first, SOP-driven environment with mentorship and type training provided. 🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Saab 340 as part of a two-pilot crew, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional flight operations.
  • Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and standardized briefings.
  • Comply with company SOPs and applicable aviation regulations at all times.
  • Support a strong safety culture through disciplined checklist use, CRM, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in initial, recurrent, and proficiency training and checks as scheduled.
  • Represent the operation professionally while working on and around a U.S. Navy installation.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 25 hours
  • Currency: Recent flight experience
  • Licenses Required: FAA CFI, CPL, IR, ME
  • Medical: Class 2
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Turbine time and/or Saab 340 time
  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate with appropriate aircraft type ratings

  • Reside within a 60-minute commute of Point Mugu Navy Base, CA
  • Valid passport
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening
  • Demonstrated understanding of aviation regulations
  • FCC Radio License
  • No violations or FAA enforcement actions

  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
