Join Cutter Aviation as the Pilot-in-Command of a new Pilatus PC-12 based at Phoenix Sky Harbor. This is a high-visibility, single-pilot role supporting owner travel and charter missions. You’ll be the face of our operation—cultivating trusted relationships, delivering world-class service, and liaising closely with Cutter Flight Management to ensure safe, seamless operations.

✈️ The opportunity

As PIC, you’ll lead every flight with professionalism, safety, and polish. This role blends hands-on airmanship with concierge-level service—planning and executing trips, coordinating with our Flight Management team, and representing Cutter Aviation to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the broader business aviation community.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command for all PC-12 missions, including single-pilot operations for owner travel and charter.
  • Deliver a premium, customer-first experience—anticipating needs and building strong, professional rapport with clients.
  • Liaise with Cutter Flight Management on all phases of flight operations, logistics, and support.
  • Own end-to-end trip execution: flight planning, performance, weight and balance, weather/risk assessment, fueling, and flight release.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness and appearance; coordinate with maintenance and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous records, logs, and reports in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  • Uphold the highest safety, regulatory, and SMS standards at all times.
  • Act as a polished external representative of Cutter Aviation across the business aviation community.

🌟 What you bring

  • No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years.
  • Previous turbojet type rating.
  • Knowledge of general aviation aircraft, service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
  • Self-starter who can operate independently and take initiative.
  • A sincere desire to assist customers and contribute as a team player.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and mannerisms; able to develop a friendly rapport.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent multi-tasking ability.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test and background check; clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

🧭 Minimum qualifications

  • License: FAA CPL with IR
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Preferred Total Time: 1,200 hours
  • Cross-Country: 500 hours
  • Night: 100 hours
  • Instrument: 75 hours (50 in actual flight)
  • Accepted Licenses: FAA
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
