Airbus A320 Captain – Permanent Command (Type Rating Provided)

• Total time: 3,500 factorized hours (see factorization notes below)
• PIC time: 1,000 hours
• Multi-engine: 1,000 hours
• Jet: 1,000 hours
• Operational PIC experience: Minimum 1,000 hrs full-time as PIC on certified MPA MET with MTOW > 50 t in a public CAT operator environment (excluding business/corporate operations)

Notes: Simulator hours are excluded. PIC hours are genuine Pilot-in-Command hours (PICUS not included).

To assess Commander eligibility, factorization is applied to pilot flying hours. Hours in specific categories are multiplied by defined factors; the sum after factorization is used to confirm whether the 3,500-hour minimum is met. As referenced by the operator, Wizz Air applies this factorization method. Simulator hours do not count toward these totals, and only true PIC time is considered as PIC.

• Lead safe, efficient A320 operations from briefing to block‑off/block‑on, upholding SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Exercise decisive command, manage threat and error, and foster a just culture on the flight deck.
• Coach and mentor First Officers, supporting a high‑performance, safety‑first team.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Ground teams to deliver an on‑time, customer‑focused operation.
• Champion continuous improvement and compliance across flight operations.
