✈️ The Opportunity

As Lead Captain, you will fly the mission and lead the mission. Beyond serving as a flight crewmember on the Global Express, you will be the primary conduit between the aircraft account and Clay Lacy Aviation (CLA)—aligning people, procedures, and performance to deliver safe, seamless operations and an exceptional client experience.

🧭 What You’ll Lead

  • Act as the key liaison between the account and CLA teams, including the ACM, DOM, Director of Training, ACP, and Trip Support Specialists.
  • Ensure crew compliance with all applicable regulations, directives, and SOPs, in accordance with company Operations Specifications, General Operations Manual (GOM), and Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
  • Assist in coordinating training events and maintaining currency in partnership with the Director of Training and ACP.
  • Review expense reports and invoices for accuracy and alignment with account expectations.
  • Assist with crew scheduling to support mission readiness, duty/rest compliance, and a balanced roster.
  • Foster strong working relationships across your flight department and champion CLA culture, professionalism, and service standards.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Type rating required on the Bombardier Global Express.
  • Current ATP certificate (FAA) and First-Class Medical.
  • Experience sufficient to safely operate the assigned aircraft while meeting account management requirements and complying with company Operations Specifications, GOM, and FOM.
  • Meets applicable FAA Part 91 and/or Part 135 requirements for the assigned aircraft and operation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills to align flight, training, maintenance, and trip support stakeholders.
  • Detail orientation for reviewing expenses, invoices, and schedule considerations.
  • Committed to safety, service, and a collaborative team culture.

📍 Location & Eligibility

  • Must reside within a 2-hour drivable commuting distance to KVNY or be willing to relocate.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Open to license holders: FAA only; visa sponsorship is not provided.
