King Air First Officer (Part-Time) – Training Provided
✈️ Join Us as a King Air First Officer (Part-Time)
Help power safe, reliable missions on the King Air as a part-time First Officer. If you bring strong multi-engine turbine experience, polished communication, and customer service skills, we’ll provide the type-specific training you need to succeed. Non–type rated candidates are welcome.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as First Officer on King Air operations, executing all duties in compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the Captain using disciplined CRM to plan, brief, and safely conduct IFR/VFR and night operations.
- Perform thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and risk assessments.
- Monitor aircraft systems, manage checklists, and maintain high situational awareness in all phases of flight.
- Deliver professional, proactive communication and exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Support a strong safety culture, reporting hazards and participating in continuous improvement.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 2,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Turbine: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: First Class
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
🌟 Additional requirements
- Current and qualified on the VE7A certificate.
- Strong communication skills and outstanding internal/external customer service.
- Successful interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management.
- COVID-19 vaccination required where permitted by applicable law.
🩺 Health, immunizations, and screening
Compliance with the following screenings and vaccinations is required:
- Tuberculosis screening
- Two Varivax vaccinations or positive varicella titer
- Two MMR vaccinations or positive titers for rubella, rubeola, and mumps
- Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis vaccine if more than two (2) years since last Td booster
- Hepatitis B vaccination series history and a positive hepatitis B surface antibody titer for staff at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material
- Annual influenza vaccination (within the last twelve months)
📚 Training and onboarding
- Company-provided King Air training for non–type rated pilots.
- Standardized procedures, SOP immersion, and safety systems orientation.
- Customer-specific onboarding; offer contingent on acceptance by customer/PHI management.
