🧭 Role overview

As the International Captain, you will report to the Chief Pilot and be ultimately accountable for the safe, secure, and compliant operation of company aircraft across global routes. You will model disciplined adherence to company policies, manufacturer procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements while leading Safety Management System (SMS) practices, actively identifying and mitigating operational risk, and fostering a culture of professionalism, clear communication, and continuous safety improvement among the flight crew.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command for international operations, ensuring uncompromising safety and compliance.
  • Lead and embed SMS best practices; proactively identify hazards and implement risk mitigations.
  • Execute flight planning, performance, fuel, and route decisions in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold manufacturer procedures for Gulfstream GVII (G500/G600) and G650 aircraft; ensure aircraft security and airworthiness in coordination with maintenance.
  • Champion a professional cockpit environment with strong CRM, communication, and mentorship for crewmembers.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and international handlers to deliver safe, on-time global missions.
  • Maintain meticulous records and reports to support regulatory and company requirements.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

  • License: FAA ATP.
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided.
  • Experience: Documented PIC experience in international flight operations.
  • Travel: Valid passport and documents for unrestricted international travel, including ability to exit and re-enter the United States and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Compliance: Ability to meet all international entry and vaccination requirements.
  • Radio: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (RR).

🔧 Preferred qualifications

  • Minimum of 3,000 hours total documented flight time.
  • Gulfstream GVII type rating.
