Gulfstream Fleet Captain (Type-Rated) – Rochester, NY

🧭 What you’ll do

• Command multi-crew Gulfstream operations across domestic and international routes.
• Champion a proactive safety culture consistent with IS-BAO Stage 3.
• Exercise sound judgment, decision-making, and threat-and-error management.
• Lead with professionalism and strong CRM, modeling best practices for the crew.
• Oversee flight planning, performance, weather, fuel, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with crew, maintenance, and stakeholders.
• Represent the flight department with poise while away from home for extended periods.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

• Total time: 3,000 hours
• Jet time: 2,000 hours
• Type rating: Required; must hold at least one jet type rating
• License: ATP — FAA
• Medical: Class 1

• Valid passport and valid driver’s license
• Ability to reside within one hour of KROC
• Ability to be away from home for extended periods
• Successful completion of background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven teamwork and collaboration in a multi-crew environment
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Adaptability and flexibility in a changing operational environment

🌟 Preferred profile

• G280 and/or G600 type rating(s)
• International flight experience
• Previous flight instruction experience and/or CFI
• Approved simulator training in your typed jet within the previous 12 months
