We are seeking a highly skilled, safety-focused First Officer to join our team operating the Hawker 900XP. You’ll be a proactive teammate dedicated to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an elevated client experience for discerning passengers.
🧭 About the role
As First Officer, you’ll support the Captain in the safe, efficient operation of the Hawker 900XP across domestic and international missions. You will uphold all FAA regulations, company procedures, and best-in-class customer service standards while exercising sound judgment and impeccable professionalism.
🧰 Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Captain/PIC in all phases of flight: planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, FMS programming, and checklists.
- Monitor weather, NOTAMs, airspace, and alternates; ensure documentation and equipment are mission-ready.
- Operate to company SOPs, apply strong CRM, and maintain a sterile cockpit as required.
- Champion safety protocols and risk management; identify and communicate hazards promptly.
- Deliver discreet, attentive service to high-net-worth clients and sensitive operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance for post‑flight discrepancies; support aircraft care and presentation.
- Maintain training currency and records; participate in initial and recurrent training.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all interactions, on the ramp and in the cabin.

🎯 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- PIC Time: 500 hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: First Class
- Passport: Valid, unrestricted for international travel
- Type Rating: Not required; training provided
💡 Preferred
- Hawker 900XP type rating, or willingness to obtain via company-sponsored training.
- Turbine/jet experience.
- Experience in Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations.
🗓️ Schedule & travel
- Frequent travel, including overnights and international trips.
- Available for on-call duty, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Operate with flexibility to meet mission and client requirements.
📍 Base & relocation
- This is not a home-based position.
- Candidates must live within, or be willing to relocate to within, one hour of KFCI (Richmond, VA area).
