Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time, type-rated Gulfstream G800 Captain to join a dedicated operation based at KHIO. Bring your professionalism, leadership, and obsession with safety to a team that delivers exceptional service with integrity—every flight, every time.
🧭 The Mission
As Captain on the G800, you will lead safe, smooth, and efficient operations for discerning clients. You’ll be the standard-bearer for Solairus’ culture—balancing world-class airmanship, thoughtful service, and rock-solid decision-making across domestic and international missions.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command on Gulfstream G800 missions, ensuring the highest safety standards throughout all phases of flight.
- Plan and execute flights with precision, including performance analysis, weight and balance, weather/NOTAM review, and international procedures.
- Uphold proactive risk management and a just-safety culture in line with Solairus’ values.
- Collaborate closely with crew and stakeholders to deliver a seamless, client-focused experience.
- Maintain currency and training, including annual ICAO International Procedures training.
- Support an on-call schedule to meet dynamic client travel needs.

- PIC time: 1500 hours
- Multi-engine: 1500 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type rating: Gulfstream G800 type rating (Required)
- License: FAA ATP (Required)
- Medical: FAA First Class (Class 1)
- Training: Able to complete annual ICAO International Procedures training
- Availability: Able to work on an on-call basis
- Residence: Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KHIO or willingness to relocate
- Licensing: Accepted licenses: FAA
- Work authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not provided
