Join a high-performing operation as a First Officer on the Reims-Cessna F406 Caravan II. This permanent role offers comprehensive type training (no prior type rating required), extended travel across Africa (6–12-week deployments), and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. Preference will be given to local applicants.

  • Total Time: 500 hours (minimum)
  • PIC Time: 100 hours (minimum)
  • License Required: CPL
  • Accepted Licenses: ICAO
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ELP Level: 4 (minimum)
  • Travel: Willing to deploy for 6–12 weeks across Africa
  • Visa Sponsorship: Provided
  • Preference: Local candidates

🧭 About the role

As an F406 Caravan II First Officer, you will support safe, efficient multi-crew operations across diverse and often remote environments. You’ll work closely with the Captain to deliver reliable missions, maintain the highest safety standards, and represent the operation with professionalism during extended African deployments.

🧰 What you will do

  • Execute all First Officer duties in accordance with SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and aircraft preparation.
  • Monitor flight progress, systems, and fuel, proactively supporting threat and error management.
  • Operate effectively in remote and austere locations, adapting to changing conditions and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Captain, ground teams, and dispatch to ensure safe, on-time operations.
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture through reporting, debriefs, and continuous improvement.

✅ Minimum requirements

  • Total Time: 500 hours+
  • PIC Time: 100 hours+
  • License: CPL (ICAO)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided
  • Travel: Willing and able to deploy for 6–12 weeks in Africa
