✈️ The mission
As Captain, you will lead safe, efficient multi‑engine operations to remote and regional destinations across Africa. You’ll manage the full flight cycle—from planning and performance to post‑flight reporting—while upholding rigorous safety and compliance standards.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Command the F406 Caravan II in varied environments, including remote and unimproved airstrips.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, weight and balance, fuel, and performance calculations.
- Operate to company SOPs and regulatory requirements; champion SMS and risk management.
- Coordinate closely with operations, maintenance, and ground teams to keep missions on schedule.
- Maintain accurate tech logs and operational documentation.
- Support training, checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
🌟 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 1000 hours
- PIC time: 500 hours
- Multi‑engine: 100 hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 100 hours
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🪪 Credentials and eligibility
- Accepted licenses: ICAO
- License required: CPL with ME
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4
- Visa sponsorship: Provided
- Preference: Priority given to local candidates
🧭 Travel and rotation
You must be willing to travel for extensive periods to support operations throughout Africa.
- Typical deployment: 6–12 weeks
- Base: Africa-wide operational theaters (specific locations as assigned)
- Employment type: Permanent
🎓 Training
Type rating is not required. Comprehensive aircraft training and recurrent checks are provided to set you up for success on the F406 Caravan II.
