Bring your hands-on airmanship to multi-crew float operations. As First Officer on the DHC-6 Twin Otter, you will help deliver safe, efficient waterborne and short-field flying in a permanent role that rewards precision, teamwork, and sound judgment.

🧭 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 1,000 hours minimum
  • In type: 750 hours on DHC-6
  • Note: The 750 hours must have been on DHC-6 floats.
  • Type rating: Required (DHC-6)
  • License: Frozen ATPL with IR and ME
  • Open to lic. holders: ICAO
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate as SIC on DHC-6 float operations in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
  • Support preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance for waterborne and short-field missions.
  • Execute checklists, radios, and navigation (IFR/VFR) in close coordination with the PIC.
  • Assist with docking, mooring, and safe passenger/cargo handling at waterways and remote strips.
  • Champion safety: contribute to reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement.

  • Proven DHC-6 float experience with 750 hours in type on floats (mandatory).
  • Current DHC-6 type rating and strong multi-crew CRM, communication, and workload management.
  • Robust IFR and multi-engine proficiency with disciplined SOP adherence.
  • Professional English communication meeting ICAO ELP Level 4.
  • Current Class 1 medical and an ICAO license: Frozen ATPL with IR and ME.
  • Calm, decisive airmanship and adaptability across changing weather and operating environments.
