Dash 8 Q400 First Officer – Nexus Airlines

🧭 Your mission

As a Dash 8 Q400 First Officer, you will operate as a key member of a two-crew cockpit, delivering safe, efficient, and on-time regional services while upholding the highest standards of airmanship and customer care.

• Execute all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Captain with robust CRM, threat and error management, and disciplined checklist usage.
• Contribute to meticulous flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance.
• Maintain clear communication with crew, operations, and ATC to ensure operational excellence.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 1500 hours
• PIC time: 1300 hours
• Multi-engine: 100 hours
• License: CPL, IR, ME (CASA)
• ICAO ELP level: 6
• Medical: Class 1
• Flight time notes: MCC Certificate or ATPL Human Factors exam credit
• Type rating: Not required (Training provided)

🌟 Preferred experience

• Preferred time: 100 hours command / first officer on DHC8 or similar (desirable)
