🧭 Mission & Impact

Command Dash 8 special missions that fuse precision aviation with advanced mission systems. You’ll operate in diverse theaters, integrating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable, real-time ISR effects in support of critical operations—safely, efficiently, and to exacting standards.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Captain Dash 8 special-mission sorties in accordance with company SOPs, FAA, DoD, and international regulations.
  • Plan, brief, and debrief missions with operations and intel teams; balance performance, weather, airspace, and risk.
  • Execute precise IFR operations, ensuring rigorous adherence to aviation safety principles and procedures.
  • Lead and mentor flight and mission crew, modeling strong CRM and standardization.
  • Operate and monitor advanced avionics and integrated mission systems, coordinating with ground and C2 nodes.
  • Oversee aircraft status, coordinate with maintenance and logistics, and ensure accurate records and reports.
  • Support training, evaluation, and continuous improvement to uphold IAS’s uncompromising safety and performance culture.
  • Deploy to OCONUS locations on an approximate 60/30 rotation; adapt to dynamic mission needs and schedules.

🌟 What You Bring

  • 4+ years of relevant aviation experience with strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge of aviation safety regulations, procedures, and advanced aviation systems.
  • Ability to pass an FAA/Military Pilot Background Check and mandatory drug and alcohol screening.
  • Able to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
  • Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/30 rotation and to various locations for extended periods.
  • Ready to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as mission requires.
  • Current/valid passport and eligibility to obtain visas for international travel.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-deployment medical assessment.
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required on Day 1 of employment.

📊 Minimum Flight & Certification Requirements

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours.
  • Flight Time Notes: Minimum 1,500 hours total fixed‑wing as PIC in multi‑engine turboprop, jet, or combination thereof, in aircraft with GTOW ≥ 12,500 lb.
  • Licenses Required: FAA CPL with IR and ME.
  • Accepted Licenses: FAA
  • Medical: FAA Class 2
  • Type Rating: Not required (Dash 8 training provided)

🎯 Preferred Qualifications

  • Military flight training background.
  • Previous ISR mission experience.
  • Dash 8 experience.
  • Prior OCONUS deployment experience.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
