Dash 8 Captain – ISR & Special Missions (NTR Welcome)

🧭 The mission

As a Dash 8 Captain, you will lead multi-crew special-mission operations in support of global ISR taskings. You will set the tone for safety, discipline, and performance while executing complex flight profiles, integrating advanced sensors, and delivering reliable results under demanding timelines.

🧰 What you will do

• Captain Dash 8 special-mission sorties, ensuring uncompromising adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and operational security.
• Plan and brief missions, manage fuel and performance, and coordinate with ground and airborne teams for time-sensitive ISR taskings.
• Employ and integrate advanced avionics and mission systems in a high-tempo environment.
• Lead, mentor, and develop crewmembers; champion a just culture and continuous improvement.
• Maintain currency, proficiency, and reporting requirements; support training, test, and certification events as needed.
• Adapt to deployed conditions while upholding highest standards of airmanship and safety.

🌟 What you will bring

• 4+ years of professional aviation experience with a strong safety record.
• Deep knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures.
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities in multi-crew operations.
• Extensive familiarity with advanced aviation systems and missionized platforms.
• Ability to pass an FAA/Military Pilot Background Check and mandatory drug & alcohol screening.
• Valid passport and ability to obtain international visas.
• Ability to pass a pre-deployment medical assessment and meet current DoD and Combatant Command deployment requirements.
• Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
• Willing and able to deploy to various OCONUS locations for extended periods.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required on day 1.

🎯 Minimum flight requirements

• Total time: 1500 hours
• PIC time: 1500 hours
• Multi-engine: 1500 hours
• Turbine: 1500 hours
• Flight time notes: Minimum 1500 hours total fixed-wing as PIC in multi-engine turboprop and/or jet aircraft with GTOW 12,500 lb or greater.
• Type rating: Not required (company training provided)
• Certificates: FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine
• Medical: Class 2

💼 Preferred qualifications

• Military flight training background.
• Previous ISR or special-mission experience.
• Previous Dash 8 experience.
• Previous OCONUS deployment experience.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.

📅 Schedule & deployment

• Approximate 60/30 rotation for OCONUS operations.
• Extended hours, holidays, and shift work may be required to meet mission demands.
• Compliance with pre-deployment medical, currency, and theater-entry requirements.
