🧭 What you’ll do

  • Command Dash 8 operations with an unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and on-time performance.
  • Lead and mentor the flight deck, fostering a professional, collaborative, and checklist-driven culture.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and decision-making in varied weather and regional environments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent the Nexus brand with professionalism on every sector.
  • Apply company SOPs and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of airmanship and CRM.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC time: 2,500 hours
  • Multi‑engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Type rating: Not required — full Dash 8 training provided
  • Preferred: 100 hours in command on DHC‑8 or similar turboprop (desirable)
  • License required: ATPL
  • Accepted licenses: ICAO
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 6
  • Work rights: Must hold valid, unrestricted rights to live and work in Australia (no sponsorship)
