CRJ200 Captain (Type-Rated)

🧭 The role

As a Captain on the CRJ200, you will lead safe, efficient operations while setting the tone for excellence on the flight deck. You will exercise sound judgment, model exemplary CRM, and uphold XEJet standards and regulatory requirements at all times.

• Command day-to-day line operations on the CRJ200 in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulations.
• Lead and mentor the crew, fostering open communication, teamwork, and high-performance cockpit culture.
• Oversee full flight planning and execution: weather and NOTAM review, performance and weight/balance, fuel strategy, MEL/CDL compliance, and threat/error management.
• Make timely, informed decisions to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
• Champion safety reporting, continuous improvement, and a just culture across the operation.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total Time: 4,000 hours
• PIC on Type: 1,000 hours (CRJ200)
• Type Rating: Current CRJ200 type rating (required)
• Licence: ATPL (ICAO)
• Medical: Class 1
• Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
• Other: Valid Radiotelephony Licence

• Previous experience in scheduled commercial airline operations.
