Trident Aircraft is seeking a full-time, type-rated Captain to join our Richmond (RIC) base, piloting a Citation Sovereign (CE-680), Learjet 45, and Learjet 75 for a well-established group of local owners. Operations include a dynamic mix of Part 91 and Part 135 flying, domestic and international.

🧭 Your mission

As Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations across a versatile midsize jet fleet, delivering exceptional service to discerning owners while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.

Serve as PIC for Part 91 and Part 135 missions, domestic and international.
Plan and execute flights, including performance, fuel, weather, alternates, and international procedures.
Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and client teams to ensure on-time, mission-ready aircraft.
Mentor and collaborate with the SIC, modeling strong CRM and decision-making.
Maintain meticulous regulatory compliance, manuals currency, and company standards.
Deliver a polished, owner-focused experience from briefing to baggage.

Minimum flight time: 3,000 total | 1,500 multi-engine | 750 jet PIC
Type rating: CE-680 (Citation Sovereign) or LR-45 (Learjet 45); both types preferred
CE-680 and LR-45 (or similar) experience with recent international exposure
ATP (FAA) and Class 1 medical
Eligible and willing to live within a 90-minute drive of RIC within 90 days of start
Proven Part 91/135 proficiency, strong SOP discipline, and owner-service mindset
