Kiewit operates a professional corporate flight department with a fleet of 9 Learjet 70/75s and 1 Challenger 300, supporting executives, key staff and clients across North America. We are hiring experienced flight crew to serve as either Co-pilot (First Officer/Co-Captain) or Pilot-in-Command (Captain), based in Omaha, Nebraska.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate as PIC (Captain) or Co-pilot (First Officer), depending on qualifications and assignment.
  • Deliver safe, efficient corporate travel for executives, key staff and customers throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
  • Plan and execute flights to company standards, including performance, fuel, weather, routing, alternates and international/CBP considerations.
  • Uphold rigorous standards of CRM, decision-making, risk management and passenger service.
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, schedulers and maintenance to ensure on-time, reliable operations.
  • Maintain currency, training and aircraft knowledge; complete required checks and records accurately.

🗓️ Schedule & travel rhythm

  • Published weekly flying schedule with an average of approximately 3 days and 2 overnights per week.
  • Flexibility to adjust to travel demand; overtime and weekend flying as required.
  • Primarily North American routes supporting corporate business needs.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Licenses: FAA ATP and Class 1 medical.
  • Total time: 2,500 hours minimum.
  • PIC time: 1,000 hours minimum.
  • Multi-engine: 500 hours minimum.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of prior business or airline flying.
  • Type rating: Not required; training provided (NTR).
  • Radio license: Valid aeronautical radiotelephone license.
  • Proficiency: Able to pass an instrument competency check in the category of aircraft to be flown.
  • Availability: Work normal operating hours; overtime and weekends as required to meet deadlines.

🌟 Preferred qualifications

  • Minimum 500 hours in the aircraft to be flown (Learjet 70/75 or Challenger 300) preferred.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and polished cabin/flight deck professionalism.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate/ Part 91 or 135-style operations.
