Citation Sovereign First Officer (SIC) – Corporate & Charter

✈️ Join the flight deck as a Citation Sovereign First Officer (SIC)

As a First Officer (SIC) under the supervision of the PIC, you will ensure the safe, efficient operation of every flight while delivering exceptional service and upholding strict regulatory compliance. You’ll be a key contributor to our reputation for professionalism across private and charter missions in Canada and abroad.

🧭 Role at a glance

  • Employment: Permanent
  • Aircraft: Citation Sovereign
  • Operations: CARs Subpart 604 (Private, non‑revenue) and Subpart 704 (Charter, revenue), non‑scheduled domestic and international passenger flights
  • Type rating: Not required — company training provided (NTR)
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Partner with the PIC to plan, brief, and execute all phases of flight to the highest safety standards.
  • Operate the aircraft in full compliance with company SOPs and applicable CARs 604/704 regulations.
  • Manage performance calculations, weight and balance, and flight deck setup including FMS/avionics configuration.
  • Provide a polished, discreet passenger experience, anticipating needs and solving challenges proactively.
  • Support domestic and international trip logistics, documentation, customs/immigration coordination, and ground services.
  • Champion safety through disciplined checklist use, threat and error management, and proactive safety reporting.

🌟 What you bring

  • Total time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Jet time: 100 hours
  • Licences: IATRA, IR, ME — Accepted licences: FAA or TCCA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Experience: Corporate aviation experience preferred

🌍 Eligibility & travel

  • Right to work: Ability to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Travel: Ability to travel outside Canada

🧑‍✈️ Training

Type rating is not required; successful candidates will receive company‑provided aircraft and operations training for the Citation Sovereign and CARs 604/704 operations.
