🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Citation Sovereign (CE-680) to the highest safety and professionalism standards, supporting the Captain from preflight through shutdown.
  • Apply disciplined CRM in a multi-crew environment, communicating clearly and anticipating operational needs.
  • Plan and execute flights: performance calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance, weather/NOTAM review, and FMS programming.
  • Conduct meticulous preflight and postflight inspections and complete all required documentation with accuracy.
  • Ensure strict regulatory compliance and adherence to company SOPs and safety management practices.
  • Deliver a polished, discreet customer experience while representing the flight department with integrity.
  • Maintain currency and proficiency; participate in initial and recurrent training and checking as assigned.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Licensing: FAA CPL with IR and ME; current Class 1 medical.
  • Experience operating multi-crew aircraft.
  • Current or previous qualification in turbojet aircraft.
  • Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean FAA, DOT, and DOJ records with no violations or deviations within the past seven years.
  • Ability to reside within one hour of KSAT or relocate accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work weekends/holidays as needed.
  • No type rating required — full type training provided.

🌟 Preferred qualifications

  • ATP certificate with multi-engine privileges.
  • Type rating in the Citation Sovereign (CE-680).
  • Minimum three years of corporate aviation experience.
  • 2,000 hours total flight time.
  • 1,000 hours PIC.
  • 100 hours instrument.
  • 150 hours night.
  • 500 hours turbine time.
