✈️ About the role

As a Type-Rated First Officer on the Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+, you will support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations across domestic and international routes. You’ll apply sound judgment, rigorous checklist discipline, and excellent CRM to ensure every mission meets company standards and regulatory requirements.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Execute all SIC duties with an uncompromising focus on safety, SOP adherence, and professional airmanship.
  • Perform thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct meticulous preflight and postflight inspections; ensure aircraft documents and maintenance status are in order.
  • Collaborate with the Captain, dispatch, and maintenance to resolve operational or technical issues efficiently.
  • Manage real-time weather, NOTAMs, routing, and ATC requirements; adapt plans to maintain safety and schedule integrity.
  • Support international operations procedures, including ICAO standards, customs/immigration coordination, eAPIS, and CANPASS travel.
  • Deliver excellent passenger care with a polished, professional presence that reflects company standards.
  • Complete all required reports, logs, and documentation accurately and on time.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Flight Time: 2,000 hours total time; 200 hours multi-engine.
  • Certificates & Ratings: ATP required; current CE-560XL series type rating (Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+) required.
  • Medical: Current First-Class (Class 1) medical.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR Part 135, FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations.
  • Systems Expertise: Strong understanding of aircraft systems, performance, and limitations.
  • Documentation & Tools: Skilled at interpreting technical publications and applying procedures; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, email, and web/mobile apps.
  • Travel & Credentials: Valid passport; ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial travel to/from Canada.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of federal identification; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Safety-Sensitive: Role designated under FAA regulations; subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing per FAA guidelines.
  • Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check, including verification of employment, education, criminal history, and related checks.
  • Professional Standards: Maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company policy.
