✈️ The opportunity
As First Officer on the Challenger 604, you will partner with the Captain to execute safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations across domestic and international routes. You will leverage strong cockpit resource management, crisp communication, and tech-forward workflows to keep every trip on time, compliant, and comfortable.
🧭 Key responsibilities
- Operate as SIC on the CL-604, delivering exemplary airmanship across all phases of flight.
- Lead thorough preflight planning, including performance, weather, alternates, and weight & balance.
- Employ EFB (iPad) and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Communicate clearly with the Captain, crew, ATC, maintenance, and passengers to uphold a smooth operation.
- Champion SOP adherence, safety culture, and a solutions-focused, professional cockpit environment.
- Support international missions, ensuring compliance with applicable entry/exit and customs requirements.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours
- Challenger 604 Type Rating: Required
- Preferred: 250 hours in type within the prior 12 months
- License Required: ATP
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
🌟 Additional requirements
- Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
- Valid passport and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and strong iPad/EFB skills
- Successful completion of a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and CHRC
- Ability to freely enter and exit countries worldwide where NEA is authorized to fly
- Candidates within a convenient 3-hour callout distance by car are encouraged to apply
📍 Base & callout
For operational readiness, priority is given to pilots who reside within an easy three-hour callout by car to the aircraft’s operating base.
Specific base details will be discussed during the interview process.
