✈️ The role

As First Officer, you will support the Captain in all phases of flight, uphold company SOPs, and ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, and international requirements along assigned routes. You will use modern avionics and digital planning tools to execute safe, efficient trips while providing attentive, professional service to passengers and partners.

🧭 What you will do

  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations using approved digital tools.
  • Execute normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures in accordance with SOPs and checklists.
  • Manage and monitor FMS, avionics, and navigation systems; maintain situational awareness from takeoff to shutdown.
  • Assist with international operations planning, permits, and documentation in coordination with dispatch.
  • Deliver a polished passenger experience while safeguarding safety, security, and confidentiality.
  • Complete legible, timely flight logs and regulatory records; support postflight debriefs and safety reporting.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and ground teams for aircraft readiness, fueling, and repositioning.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 1,500 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • License: CPL with IR and ME ratings; FAA only
  • Medical: Current Second Class (renewed every 12 months); First Class preferred
  • Regulatory knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations
  • International readiness: Understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international ops regulations relevant to assigned routes
  • Tech proficiency: Comfortable with digital flight planning, avionics, and web or mobile flight applications
  • Background: Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Driver’s license: Valid state license for airport ground transportation and repositioning support
  • Residence: Must live within a 90-minute callout of KTYQ; position is not commutable
  • Travel: Domestic and international travel with extended overnights and multi-day assignments
  • Currency: If currently typed, completed initial or recurrent training on the assigned aircraft within the preceding 12 months

🌟 Preferred

  • ATP certification (strongly preferred)
  • Challenger 604 type rating with 250 hours in type
  • Prior Part 135 or corporate flight operations experience in a managed fleet environment
