✈️ The role

As a Caravan Captain, you’ll operate a versatile flying program that includes day and night sectors, single-pilot operations, remote community services, and Air Transport Services across regional and metropolitan Western Australia. Expect hands-on flying, diverse missions, and a professional, safety-first operation.

🧭 Where you’ll fly

From coastal cities to red-desert airstrips, you’ll experience the breadth of WA flying. You’ll operate into a mix of regional airports and remote locations, often into challenging but rewarding environments that sharpen skills and deliver meaningful services to local communities.

🌟 Training and progression

Aviair provides robust training through our approved Training & Checking organisation, combining synthetic devices and full-motion simulators with a structured line training program. We also offer genuine progression potential into Part 121 operations. With Nexus Airlines now part of the group, C208 pilots can be considered for airline positions upon completion of their return-of-service commitments.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Minimum
    • PIC time: 1,000 hours
    • Licence: CPL with IR issued by CASA
    • Medical: Class 1
    • English: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Preferred
    • Gas Turbine Endorsement
    • Current C208 Flight Review
    • 15 hours night PIC or ICUS
    • Part 135 IFR experience
  • Type Rating: Not required — comprehensive conversion training provided
