Join a high-performing team operating the Cessna 208 Caravan in remote and dynamic environments. As a type-rated captain, you’ll deliver safe, reliable service to communities, conservancies, and guests—often on short, unprepared strips—while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer care.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Cessna 208 Caravan safely and efficiently across remote and bush environments, including off-strip conditions.
- Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making in fast-changing weather and terrain, balancing operational needs with safety and compliance.
- Lead from the cockpit—modeling professionalism, clear communication, and teamwork with crew, ground staff, and passengers.
- Execute precise performance planning, weight-and-balance, and fuel management for diverse airstrips and altitudes.
- Adhere to KCARs, company SOPs, and Safety Management System practices at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service, representing the brand with integrity and care throughout every stage of the journey.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 1000 hours
- In type (C208): 750 hours
- Type rating: Required (Cessna 208)
- License: CPL + IR
- Open to Lic. Holders: ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4
- Radiotelephony: Valid certificate

- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures, including KCARs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; collaborative by default, calm under pressure.
- Proven leadership and situational awareness in flight operations.
- High level of technical proficiency with Cessna 208 systems and avionics.
- Uncompromising focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
- Adaptability to bush flying and off-strip conditions; confident on short and/or soft fields.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills in time-critical situations.
- Integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions.
🌍 Preferred experience
- Bush time: Previous operations in Maasai Mara and/or Laikipia are a distinct advantage.
Familiarity with wildlife conservancies, variable strip conditions, and rapidly changing weather will set you up for success.
