From rugged Alaskan runways to international missions, every day brings a new challenge and a new horizon. As a Hercules First Officer, you’ll help deliver critical cargo where it’s needed most—supporting mail, freight, and commercial operations that keep communities and industries moving.

🧭 What You’ll Do

Serve as First Officer on the C‑130 L382G, transporting mail and freight across Alaska, the U.S., and international destinations.
Operate in remote, austere environments and adapt to challenging terrain and weather with a safety‑first mindset.
Employ strong CRM, adhere to SOPs, and support precise, on‑time operations.
Collaborate closely with the Captain, loadmasters, dispatch, and maintenance teams to ensure mission success.
Complete required simulator and line evaluations; maintain currency and proficiency standards.
Work variable schedules—days, nights, weekends, and holidays—with periods away from home as missions require.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

5,000 hours total time.
FAA ATP (or completion of ATP‑CTP with required aeronautical experience).
Current First Class medical certificate.
Valid driver license and current passport.
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions, including entrance onto foreign military bases.
Successful completion of a simulator flight evaluation.

Type rating not required. Comprehensive company training is provided for the C‑130/L‑100 Hercules to set you up for success on mission‑critical operations.

🔐 Pre‑Employment & Compliance

Post‑conditional offer drug test and background investigation.
Must be able to hold a Secure Identification Display Access badge and submit to RapBack verification.

Candidates must meet all regulatory and company compliance requirements before assignment.

Comfort with extended time away from home as operational needs dictate.
