🧭 The Mission

Lynden Air Cargo is seeking experienced and adventurous First Officers who thrive in challenging environments and want to be part of a tight-knit, mission-focused crew. You’ll support commercial cargo operations—including mail and freight—to some of the most remote destinations on earth, as well as international missions that demand precision, professionalism, and adaptability.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Captain in all phases of flight: planning, performance, checklists, and flight management.
  • Operate safely and efficiently in austere, remote, and weather-challenging environments in accordance with FARs and company SOPs.
  • Support cargo operations, including weight and balance, loading oversight, and cargo security coordination.
  • Execute domestic and international missions, maintaining high standards of airmanship and situational awareness.
  • Participate in training, simulator events, and recurrent checks to maintain currency and proficiency.
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture through SMS participation, reporting, and risk management.
  • Represent Lynden Air Cargo professionally with customers, partners, and ground agencies worldwide.

📋 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 5,000 hours
  • License Required: ATP (FAA) — or completion of ATP-CTP and required aeronautical experience
  • Accepted Licenses: FAA
  • Medical: First Class
  • Type Rating: Not required (Training provided)

🧾 Additional Requirements

  • Successful completion of a simulator flight evaluation.
  • Current driver license and valid passport.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; able to be away from home for extended periods.
  • Eligible to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions, including access to foreign military bases.

🧪 Screening & Compliance

  • Post-conditional offer drug test and background investigation required.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a SIDA badge and submit to RapBack verification.
