Beechcraft Bonanza Captain (33/G35/36) – IFR Package Operations
✈️ About this role
If you prefer flying packages over people, this is a pretty good gig. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed but the flying is professional. To succeed in this position your IFR skills must be sharp, you have to be comfortable flying in complex airspace, and you need to be comfortable with a variety of weather situations.
🧭 What you'll fly & how you'll operate
You'll serve as Captain and PIC on well-maintained Beechcraft Bonanza airframes (33, G35, 36). Expect single-engine IFR operations in busy, complex airspace with diverse weather—demanding precise procedures, solid decision-making, and confident radio work.

- Sharp IFR proficiency and real-world instrument experience.
- Comfort navigating Class B and other complex airspace around the National Capital Region.
- Sound weather judgment and strong ADM/CRM in single-pilot environments.
- Professionalism with a relaxed, can-do attitude—safety first, always.
- Ability to meet the role’s demanding physical requirements.
🌟 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,200 hours
- Cross-Country: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- Instrument: 75 hours (50 actual)
- License: FAA CPL with Instrument Rating
- Medical: Class 1
- Proximity: Must live within 1-hour wheels-up of IAD
- Type Rating: Not required (Training provided)

- Ability to comply with PRIA requests and DOT drug & alcohol testing regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Open to FAA certificate holders; visa sponsorship is not provided.
