Join one of Europe’s most recognisable airlines in the left seat. We’re welcoming experienced Captains who are not currently type rated on the A320 family and are ready to complete a full Type Rating and transition onto our Airbus fleet.

  • Employment: Permanent
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided
  • Bases: UK network bases

✈️ The Opportunity

Non‑Type Rated Captains will complete a full A320 Type Rating with one of our approved training organisations at the start of easyJet employment, followed by an easyJet Operator Conversion Course (OCC). Funding options for the A320 Type Rating will be available. All pilots will then complete a standard easyJet OCC before line flying.

  • A320 Type Rating with an approved training organisation (ATO) at commencement of employment
  • easyJet OCC on completion of the Type Rating
  • Line training and release to line on the A320 family

🧭 Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 4,000 hours minimum
  • PIC Time: Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on jet aircraft above 30 tonnes MTOW (by easyJet induction date)
  • Licence: ATPL — UK CAA only
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Right to Work: The right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted access across the UK, EEA and the easyJet network
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided
