🧭 Your mission

  • Operate the Baron 55/56/58 in cargo service with professional execution on every leg, day and night.
  • Plan and fly precise IFR routes through busy, complex airspace (including Class B) and diverse weather.
  • Perform thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance; oversee secure cargo loading and restraint.
  • Adhere to company SOPs and all applicable regulations while maintaining top-tier safety and airmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with operations/dispatch and customers; provide timely status updates and ETAs.
  • Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation for operational and regulatory compliance.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Exceptionally sharp IFR skills and confidence working in complex, high-density airspace.
  • Sound judgment and weather decision-making across a variety of conditions.
  • FAA CPL with Instrument Rating and a current Class 1 medical.
  • Ability to comply with PRIA requirements and DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including ramp work and cargo handling.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Residence within a 1-hour wheels-up radius of IAD.
  • A team-first attitude that matches our relaxed culture and professional standards.

📏 Minimum requirements

  • Total Time: 1,200 hours
  • Cross-Country: 500 hours
  • Night: 100 hours
  • Instrument: 75 hours (at least 50 in actual conditions)
  • Open to License Holders: FAA
