✈️ The Opportunity

As an ATR 42 First Officer, you’ll operate in a dynamic, northern environment alongside an experienced Captain, delivering safe, efficient service to remote destinations. You’ll develop deep expertise in cold-weather and remote-field operations while building valuable multi-crew turbine time.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Execute ATR 42 flight operations from preflight to shutdown in accordance with SOPs, regulations, and Client Standards.
  • Practice strong CRM, supporting the Captain in all phases of flight and decision-making.
  • Plan and monitor flights in northern/remote and cold-weather conditions, including performance, fuel, alternates, and terrain considerations.
  • Conduct thorough checklists and briefings; manage FMS and autoflight systems with precision.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, ground teams, and customers to ensure a safe, on-time operation.

🌟 Minimum Requirements

  • Total time: 600 hours
  • PIC time: 300 hours
  • License required: IATRA (TCCA accepted only)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
  • Security clearance: Eligible for Transport Canada RAIC
  • Standards: Must meet requirements established in Client Standards

➕ Preferred

  • Multi-engine experience in a multi-crew environment

🎓 Training & Progression

NTR-friendly: Type rating not required. ATR 42 training is provided upon hire, with ongoing recurrent training and checking in line with company and regulatory standards.

📍 Work Authorization

Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Canada and be able to travel as required.
