🧭 The Role
As an A320 Captain, you will command safe, efficient operations to the highest JCAB and company standards. You will lead a professional crew, uphold exemplary airmanship, and deliver an outstanding passenger experience while ensuring regulatory compliance, on-time performance, and robust decision-making across all phases of flight.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Command Airbus A320 flights in full compliance with JCAB regulations and company SOPs.
- Lead, brief, and mentor the flight deck and cabin teams, championing CRM and safety culture.
- Execute thorough flight planning and oversight: weather, NOTAMs, performance, fuel, MEL, and operational risk.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in Japanese and English, including all ATC interactions.
- Manage abnormal and emergency procedures decisively, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Represent the airline with professionalism and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
🌟 What You’ll Bring
- Current JCAB ATPL and Class 1 medical.
- Captain experience with a Japanese scheduled airline.
- 1,000+ hours of PIC time on a jet aircraft.
- Fluency in Japanese; ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Air radio operator license (or equivalent/higher).
- Demonstrated leadership, judgement, and exemplary CRM skills.
- Eligibility to work without visa sponsorship, as sponsorship is not provided.
🎓 Training & Development
A320 Type Rating Provided: Successful NTR captains will receive comprehensive A320 type rating training. You’ll also maintain currency through recurrent training and checks aligned with JCAB and company standards.
