Lead lifesaving missions as a PC-24 Aeromedical Captain
Join Toll Aviation and fly purpose-driven aeromedical missions across New South Wales. We operate a modern fleet of Pilatus PC-24s and King Air B350s on a permanent air ambulance contract from Sydney—delivering safe, reliable, mission-critical care when every minute matters.
✈️ The mission
As Captain, you’ll lead PC-24 and potentially King Air B350 aeromedical sorties, transporting patients, clinicians, and critical care equipment safely and efficiently—day, night, IFR, and in challenging conditions. You’ll be the calm professional at the center of a multi‑disciplined team, ensuring every flight meets the highest clinical and operational standards.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command aeromedical missions to CASA and company standards, with uncompromising safety and airmanship.
- Collaborate closely with flight nurses, doctors, and operations to deliver timely, patient‑focused outcomes.
- Plan and execute IFR/Night operations, including performance, fuel, alternates, and terrain/route considerations.
- Manage cockpit resource management, threat and error management, and clear communications at all times.
- Maintain currency, participate in recurrent training, and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
🧰 What you’ll bring (minimum requirements)
- License: CASA ATPL, or CASA CPL with all ATPL subjects completed
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO Level 4+
- Total PIC: 1500 hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 400 hours
- Night PIC: 100 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours (minimum 125 in‑flight)
- MEIR renewals: Minimum 3
- Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work within a multi‑disciplined team of professionals
- Clearances: Able to obtain a Working With Children Check and ASIC
🌟 Ideally, you also have
- Aircraft experience: Prior time on King Air B350 and/or Pilatus PC‑24
- Turbine PIC: 1000 hours
- Check & training: Background in checking, training, or instruction
