Join Vietravel Airlines as an A320 Captain on a permanent contract and help shape safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across Vietnam and beyond. We’re seeking a decisive, disciplined commander who excels under pressure, communicates with clarity, and leads by example.

  • Employment: Permanent
  • Fleet: Airbus A320 family (A320F)
  • Type-Rated: Required (A320F). Pathway available for qualified heavy-jet PICs to complete A320F type rating before line operations.
  • License: ATPL (Accepted: CAAV)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language: Fluency in Vietnamese; ICAO ELP Level 4+
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided (must have existing right to work in Vietnam)
🧭 Your Mission
  • Command A320 family flights with uncompromising safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Exercise sound judgment, decisiveness, and quick-thinking in dynamic and time-critical situations.
  • Lead the flight deck with transparency and clear communication, fostering strong CRM and teamwork.
  • Maintain exceptional situational awareness from preflight planning through arrival and post-flight.
  • Mentor and develop First Officers, modeling professionalism, discipline, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Uphold SOPs and company policies while striving for continuous improvement in performance and service.
🌟 Minimum Requirements
  • Total Jet Time: Minimum 3,000 hours on jet airline aircraft (commercial airline and/or multi-crew operations preferred).
  • PIC in Type: Minimum 500 hours PIC on A320F; or minimum 1,500 hours PIC on aircraft with MTOW > 50,000 kg, with the expectation to join the A320F type rating course before operating at Vietravel Airlines.
  • Type Rating: A320 type rating required. Transition training pathway available for qualifying heavy-jet PICs as above.
  • License: Valid CAAV ATPL.
  • Medical: Current Class 1.
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher.
  • Language: Fluency in Vietnamese.
  • Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship not provided; ability to live and work in Vietnam is required.
