Join a mission-focused flight operations team flying a Beechcraft Super King Air across the UK and European Union, with periodic worldwide deployments. You’ll command a proven turboprop platform, operating to UK CAA/FAA and EASA standards and Aviation Operations Europe SOPs. Type rating not required—comprehensive training provided for the right candidate.
🧭 The mission
This role is responsible for operating a turboprop aircraft in accordance with UK CAA/FAA and EASA policies and Aviation Operations Europe Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will plan and execute safe, efficient missions while coordinating closely with company site leads and fellow aircrew.
- Plan and execute flights end-to-end, including W&B, fuel, performance, and weather/NOTAM review.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections and verify airworthiness documentation.
- Coordinate with site leads and aircrew to facilitate mission execution and on-time operations.
- Operate in day/night and IFR across the UK and EU, with worldwide travel as required by the mission contract.
- Uphold SOPs, SMS, and regulatory compliance while maintaining meticulous flight records.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Total time: 1,500 hours
- PIC time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine PIC: 500 hours
- Night: Minimum 200 hours
- Cross-country: Minimum 500 hours
- Licences: CPL with IR and ME — accepted from EASA, FAA or UK CAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Language proficiency: ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Education: Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
- Right to work: Legal right to work and travel freely within both the UK and the EU
- Passport: Valid passport and willingness to travel worldwide
🌟 Preferred credentials
- Valid FAA BE300 type rating
- Valid UK or EASA BE300/1900 type rating
- Commercial special missions or ISR experience
