CAC is one of Australia’s premier turnkey providers delivering Aircraft Charter, Aeromedical, Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering, and fully integrated special mission modification services to a broad spectrum of customers including Commercial, Tourism, Commonwealth/State Governments, and international clients.
🧰 The opportunity
Command our Super King Air fleet on diverse IFR missions, leading from the front in a safety-first, customer-focused environment. You’ll exercise sound judgement, mentor crew, and represent CAC professionally on every sector.
- Operate multi-sector corporate charter, aeromedical, and special mission flights domestically and internationally.
- Plan and execute IFR operations, including performance calculations, fuel planning, and weight & balance.
- Champion safety, SOPs, and regulatory compliance at all times.
- Deliver exceptional client care and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support training, checking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- Total time: 1,500 hours+
- PIC time: 1,000 hours+
- Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours+
- Turbine time: 500 hours+
- Night: Minimum 50 hours multi-engine at night
- Type rating: Current Super King Air type rating (required)
- Licence: CPL with IR and ME; FAA licence holders considered
- IR currency: At least 6 months remaining on IPC
- Security: Current ASIC
- Training: Dangerous Goods Awareness
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO English Level 4
- COVID-19: Vaccination required where permitted by applicable law
Preferred: Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
📌 Work pattern
- Permanent position with rostered duties, including weekends.
- Flexibility to support short-notice missions as operationally required.
