Lead multi‑engine, low‑level surveillance missions that safeguard coastlines, fisheries, and communities. Join our Airborne Maritime Surveillance Division (AMSD), partnering with domestic affairs agencies, coast guards, fisheries protection, search and rescue, and other public safety organizations.
🧭 Your mission
- Serve as Pilot‑in‑Command on multi‑engine, sensor‑equipped aircraft for maritime patrol, fisheries protection, SAR support, and public safety surveillance.
- Plan and execute low‑level coastal and over‑water operations while maintaining the highest standards of airmanship, situational awareness, and crew coordination.
- Lead a multi‑crew environment, coordinating with mission system operators, ATC, and agency partners to deliver precise, actionable outcomes.
- Apply robust risk management: performance, fuel, weather, terrain/obstacle, and mission constraints; adhere to SOPs and safety management systems.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, flight records, and mission documentation; contribute to continuous improvement and standardization.
- Participate in recurrent training, simulations, and exercises to sustain readiness for short‑notice tasking as required.
🧾 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 3,500 hours
- PIC time: 1,000 hours
- Multi‑engine: 500 hours
- Flight time notes: 500 hours multi‑engine on aircraft type (or similar) and 500 hours low‑level flight time
- License required: ATPL
- Accepted licenses: TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Not required; full training provided (NTR)
