Lead from the left seat as a trusted company aviator. As Senior Captain, you will command both a Gulfstream G600 and G280, ensuring safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant operations worldwide while contributing to flight operations programs and projects.
🧭 About the Role
The Senior Captain serves as PIC with final authority for the safe and compliant operation of company aircraft, ensuring adherence to all domestic and international regulations and to policies outlined in the company Flight Operations Manual.
- Operate as PIC on Gulfstream G600 and G280 aircraft.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable U.S. and foreign regulations and company procedures.
- Report directly to the Aviation Operations Manager.
- Lead and support Flight Operations programs and projects beyond flight duties.
- Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in safety-critical situations.
- Travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- License: ATP (Open to FAA license holders)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type rating: Required on Gulfstream G600 and/or G280
- Total time: 2,500 hours
- PIC time: 1,000 hours
- Turbine time: 1,000 hours
- Travel readiness: Current passport; no restrictions on international travel
- Driver’s license: Current U.S. driver’s license
- Technology & safety: High computer literacy; familiarity with aircraft technical libraries; strong risk-mitigation skills
🌟 Preferred Experience
- 500+ hours in either the G600 or G280
- International piloting experience in Europe, South America, and Asia
📍 Location & Lifestyle
- Commute: Must be willing to live within a one-hour drive of the Swagelok hangar
- Travel: Time spent on travel may be up to 50%
