Join a high-performance corporate flight department and take command of our Gulfstream GVII fleet. As Senior Captain, you’ll hold final authority and set the standard for operational excellence, safety, and service on complex domestic and international missions.
✈️ Role overview
The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft. When assigned to a flight, you exercise final authority over all phases of operation. You will ensure every flight and ground activity complies with federal aviation regulations, applicable foreign regulations, and all department and company policies and procedures—executed to the highest standard.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command on GVII (G500/G650) missions, maintaining ultimate operational authority and decision-making.
- Champion a proactive safety culture and strict compliance with FARs, applicable foreign regulations, and company SOPs.
- Lead thorough flight planning, performance and weight/balance calculations, and risk assessment for domestic and international legs.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, ground handling, and cabin services to ensure punctual, seamless operations.
- Exercise sound judgment in changing conditions, including weather, airspace, and operational constraints.
- Model professional airmanship, CRM, and exceptional passenger service on every flight.
🌍 International operations
This role requires extensive international operations experience. You’re comfortable navigating global procedures and best practices—from oceanic and remote operations to diverse regulatory environments—while maintaining precise standards of safety and compliance.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Type rating: Not required; GVII training provided.
- Background: Previous flight experience in a corporate aviation department is required.
- International: Extensive international operations experience required.
- License: ATP (FAA).
- Medical: Class 1.
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided.
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- Current GVII (G500/G650) type rating and Pilot-in-Command time on company-operated aircraft.
- Experience in flight instruction or teaching (mentoring, checking, or training roles) is desirable.
- Strong CRM, leadership, and communication skills with a meticulous approach to SOP adherence.
