As our Senior Captain, you hold final authority when assigned to a flight and set the tone for flawless operations, exemplary crew leadership, and exceptional passenger experience.
🧭 The mission
The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the company aircraft. When assigned to a flight, you have the final authority regarding the operation of the aircraft. You ensure that all flight and ground operations are conducted at the highest levels of safety and in full compliance with federal aviation regulations, applicable foreign regulations, and all department and company policies and procedures.
🧰 What you will do
- Lead end-to-end trip execution, from preflight planning and performance calculations to postflight reviews and reporting.
- Conduct domestic and extensive international operations, ensuring adherence to ICAO standards, foreign regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.
- Exercise sound operational judgment as Pilot in Command, maintaining a safety-first mindset in all conditions.
- Champion safety management practices, risk assessments, and continuous improvement across flight and ground activities.
- Deliver exemplary crew resource management, mentoring flight crew and coordinating seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and ground partners.
- Represent the flight department with professionalism and discretion while providing a polished, client-focused experience.
🌟 What you bring
- Previous flight experience in a corporate aviation department (required).
- Extensive international operations experience with a strong command of global procedures and best practices (required).
- Proven leadership, decisive PIC judgment, and exceptional CRM/communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail in planning, compliance, and documentation.
- Calm, service-oriented presence with the ability to adapt to dynamic schedules.
- Experience in flight instruction or teaching (preferred).
📜 Qualifications & credentials
- Type rating: Required
- License Required: ATP
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
Note: Candidates with current or recent Gulfstream GVII/G500–G650 experience will be strongly prioritized.
