Junior First Officer – Airbus Family (Type Rating Provided)

🧭 The opportunity

As a Junior First Officer, you will operate across multiple Airbus variants within the Airbus family, supporting the Captain to deliver safe, efficient and professional operations. You will apply sound airmanship, disciplined SOP adherence, and excellent crew coordination on every sector.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Execute all first officer duties from preflight planning to post-flight debrief in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct accurate performance calculations, weight and balance checks, and FMC/FMS setup.
• Maintain the highest safety standards through robust CRM, threat and error management, and disciplined checklist use.
• Monitor flight progress, aircraft systems, and weather, providing timely cross-checks and callouts.
• Deliver excellent customer service through punctual, smooth, and professional operations.
• Stay current with training, briefings, and recurrent checks; proactively support a just culture and continuous improvement.

📜 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 3000 hours
• Turbine: 500 hours
• Type rating: Not required (training provided)
• License required: ATPL
• Accepted licenses: CAASL
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO ELP level: 4
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka

Note: Candidates must already hold the right to work; visa sponsorship is not available.

🛫 Training and onboarding

Successful candidates will receive Airbus type rating training followed by supervised line flying and recurrent checks, ensuring a confident transition onto the Airbus family.
