Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking permanent full-time Saab First Officers to join our Vancouver base at the YVR South Terminal in Richmond, BC. Help connect communities across British Columbia while building your career in a People First, safety-focused regional airline.
✈️ The opportunity
Join a dynamic flight crew flying regional passenger operations across British Columbia. You’ll experience spectacular West Coast routes, work with a collaborative team, and enjoy competitive compensation with pathways for advancement.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate Saab aircraft safely and efficiently in a multi-crew environment across scheduled regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight duties including planning, performance, weather and NOTAM review, and aircraft documentation.
- Work closely with the Captain and cabin crew to deliver a professional, people-first customer experience.
- Adhere to company SOPs, the Crew Practices Manual, and all applicable regulations and safety programs.
- Maintain currency and participate in required training and checks.
🧰 What you bring
- Hours: 500+ hours total time
- Licensing: CPL with IATRA (completed within the last 18 months) or ATPL
- Ratings: Current Multi-Engine IFR
- Medical: Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Work eligibility: Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or valid permit to work in Canada
- Security & travel: Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); able to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
- Schedule: Flexibility for varying shifts and the ability to travel away from home, including overnights
- Physical: Able to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) unassisted
- Compliance: Commitment to the airline’s Crew Practices Manual and safety standards; training bond applies
- Preferred: Type rating; multi-crew, multi-engine, IFR and/or turbine experience in 600/702/703/704/705 or military operations. Flight Instructors with 1000+ hours TT are encouraged to apply.
