Regional Chief Pilot — Northeast (HPN)

🧭 What you’ll lead

• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and supervision for pilots across the Northeast region.
• Ensure strict adherence to FAA Part 135 regulations, company manuals, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Oversee pilot training, checking, and standardization; conduct line checks and support recurrent training.
• Partner with Safety, Training, and Dispatch to drive SMS initiatives and operational excellence.
• Support scheduling and on-call operational needs; serve as a resource for flight crew decision-making.
• Perform limited line flying to maintain currency, assess standards, and support the operation.
• Collaborate with regulatory and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and implement best practices.

🧰 What you bring

• CPL or ATPL certificate with appropriate ratings for company operations.
• Current pilot qualifications and currency in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of FAA Part 135 regulations and operational requirements.
• Previous experience in pilot leadership, supervision, or pilot development (strongly preferred).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative leadership style.
• Flexibility to support on-call operational needs and the ability to travel occasionally.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, professionalism, and high operational standards.

📍 Location & travel

Primary base: HPN (Westchester County Airport), West Harrison, NY
Travel: Occasional travel within the Northeast region as operationally required
Flying: Limited line flying and line checks as assigned
