Iskwew Air is inviting applications for a Vancouver-based Flight Crew member to fly our Piper Navajo Chieftains. This permanent role can be full-time or part-time for the right candidate, with operations based out of YVR Southside in Richmond, BC and occasional travel away from base to meet operational requirements.

As Captain, you’ll lead by example, deliver safe and efficient operations, and contribute to a supportive culture that develops emerging pilots.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Captain on PA‑31 flights in accordance with company SOPs and CARs, upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Exercise sound judgment, effective CRM, and clear decision-making in dynamic operating conditions.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch, maintenance, and customers; adapt to schedule changes and overnights away from base as required.
  • Model professionalism; mentor junior pilots and contribute to coaching and leadership within the flight team.
  • Complete flight planning, documentation, and post-flight reporting accurately and on time.

  • Able to obtain airside security clearance authority within six months.

🧭 Minimum requirements

  • Total PIC: 1,000+ hours
  • Multi-engine: 200+ hours
  • Type rating: Not required — PA‑31 training provided (NTR)
  • Licence: TCCA CPL with Multi-Engine
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • COVID‑19 vaccination: Required where permitted by applicable law
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided
