Pilot in Command (PIC) – Citation XLS/XLS+ | Scottsdale, AZ

✈️ The Opportunity

Jet Linx is hiring a seasoned Pilot in Command to captain our Citation XLS/XLS+ for Part 91 and 135 operations from our Scottsdale base. You’ll report to the Base Chief Pilot and set the tone for safe, efficient, and customer-centric flying—upholding the Federal Aviation Regulations and Jet Linx procedures on every leg.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Plan, execute, and conclude flights to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger care.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and applicable CFRs.
• Remain mission-ready: maintain active communication for standby duty, trip notices, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
• Own your EFB: maintain hardware, apps, and ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Exercise strong, proactive decision-making and crew leadership in dynamic operational environments.
• Model and reinforce Jet Linx core values in all internal and customer-facing interactions.

🧰 What You Bring

• Flight time minimums:
  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total PIC: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type (CE-560XL): 250 hours
  • Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument: 300 hours
• ATP (or the ability to obtain ATP); 1st Class Medical; FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Current passport; unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug/alcohol testing.
• Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
• Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Physical demands: move up to 50 pounds frequently; majority of work performed in and around aircraft/terminals.
• Residency within—or willingness to relocate within—a 2-hour callout of Scottsdale base.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type (Citation XLS/XLS+) within the last 24 months.
• ATP-Restricted (ATP-R) viewed favorably in conjunction with meeting or exceeding minimums.

💼 Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $145,000 – $200,000 annually (full-time)
• Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; company-paid life and short-term disability coverage

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and training currency.
