🧭 What you’ll do

As a First Officer on the Pilatus PC-12, you’ll deliver safe, efficient, and professional operations in a two-crew environment.

Execute standard First Officer duties: flight planning, performance and weight/balance, pre/post-flight inspections, checklists, and flight deck monitoring.
Operate the PC-12 under company SOPs in day/night and IFR conditions.
Communicate clearly with the Captain, dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to support safe, on-time operations.
Uphold a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of airmanship.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

Total Time: 500 hours (minimum)
Licence: TCCA CPL with IR
Medical: Class 1
ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
Type Rating: Not required — comprehensive training provided
Preferred: 500 hours PIC
Accepted Licences: TCCA

🧪 Training and checking

All Ornge pilots complete a structured training program and must successfully pass a PPC/IFT check conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or Approved Check Pilot.

📜 Additional requirements

Work Eligibility: Valid Canadian passport or ability to work in Canada, and ability to travel to the USA.
Background: Satisfactory criminal record search.
Health: Immunization records with required vaccinations.
COVID-19: Vaccination required where permitted by applicable law.
