Join a permanent A320 Cadet Pilot pathway with full type-rating training provided. If you hold Sri Lankan aviation credentials and strong academic foundations, this program is your runway to the right seat on the Airbus A320 family.
✈️ The opportunity
As an A320 Cadet Pilot, you will progress through a structured training pathway culminating in operational line flying on the A320 family. This is a non-type-rated entry (NTR), with comprehensive ground school, simulator phases, base training, and supervised line experience leading to full fleet release.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Complete ground school and systems training to A320 standards, followed by Full Flight Simulator sessions and base training.
- Operate in a multi-crew environment, applying CRM, SOPs, and threat and error management at all times.
- Uphold the highest safety, compliance, and professionalism standards in accordance with company manuals and CAASL regulations.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge, handling skills, and situational awareness through recurrent training and feedback.
- Contribute to a positive, safety-first cockpit culture built on communication, discipline, and mutual respect.
🧰 What you bring
- A current Sri Lankan CPL with IR and a valid ATPL knowledge endorsement issued by the CAASL. (If you are completing your CPL, it must be in your possession by 21 September 2026.)
- Frozen ATPL with IR and ME.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Sri Lanka.
- Valid Class 1 medical and ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
- Strong multi-crew discipline, situational awareness, and dedication to procedural excellence.
- Non-type-rated candidates are welcome — A320 type rating training is provided.
