✈️ The Opportunity
Take the left seat of a renowned turboprop and fly meaningful missions across the Great North. As a PC-12 Captain, you’ll operate into remote and gravel strips, manage dynamic weather, and deliver safe, reliable service where it matters most. 🧭 What You’ll Do
- Captain PC-12 operations under IFR/VFR across northern and remote environments, including gravel and short/rough runway operations.
- Conduct meticulous flight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance for varying payloads and runway conditions.
- Exercise sound decision-making in changing weather and terrain while maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Comply with company SOPs, SMS, and all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch and maintenance, ensuring aircraft readiness and operational efficiency.
- Deliver professional, courteous service and clear communication with customers and crew—in English and/or French.
🌟 Minimum Requirements
- Total time: 1,200 hours
- Turbine time: 500 hours
- License: Valid TCCA flight crew licence with current IR; SAMRA & SARON completed
- Medical: Class 1
- Language proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Languages: English and/or French at a professional level
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🧰 Preferred Qualifications
- PC-12 qualification and/or experience.
- Minimum of 500 PIC hours.
- Demonstrated Great North experience, including gravel strip operations.
- Strong bilingual communication (English/French) an asset.
🌟 Training & Onboarding
Type rating is not required—comprehensive PC-12 training will be provided upon hire. Ongoing proficiency and recurrent training are supported to keep you current and confident in northern turboprop operations.
