🧭 The mission
As a PC-12 Captain, you will command single-pilot IFR and VFR operations into a variety of airports—including those in sparsely settled areas—delivering safe, reliable service in dynamic weather, terrain, and runway environments. You will set the tone for a strong safety culture, disciplined SOP adherence, and exceptional operational decision-making.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Plan and conduct flights in accordance with company SOPs, CARs, and SMS.
- Execute IFR and VFR operations day and night, including remote and short-field environments.
- Perform performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and de/anti-icing decisions.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams; ensure accurate documentation and logbook entries.
- Exercise sound judgment in changing operational conditions; uphold exemplary airmanship and customer care.
- Use desktop computers and peripherals for flight planning, reporting, and training.
🌟 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 2,000 hours
- PIC Time: 750 hours
- In-Type (PC-12): 100 hours total, including 50 hours PIC
- Remote Ops: 500 hours to/from airports in sparsely settled areas
- IFR Experience: 2 years
- Type Rating: PC-12 type-rated
- Licence: CPL with IR (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- English: Transport Canada English Proficiency Standard (ICAO Level 4+)
- Education: High School Diploma
- Security: Able to obtain RAIC
- Passport: Valid at time of hire
- Travel & Schedule: Willing to travel; available evenings and weekends
- Computer Use: Manual dexterity to operate desktop computers and peripherals
- Work Authorization: Able to work without employer-provided visa sponsorship
Note: Candidates must meet all minimums and hold the required type rating at time of application.
